Heal Faster with Acupuncture
Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine offer effective, natural treatments for sports injuries, focusing on pain relief, healing, and recovery. Whether you’re dealing with an acute injury or chronic pain from overuse, these therapies help restore balance, reduce inflammation, and promote faster healing.
Acupuncture works by stimulating specific points on the body to promote the flow of Qi (energy) and blood. This boosts the body’s natural healing abilities and reduces pain and inflammation.
How Acupuncture Works For Sports Injuries
01
Accelerate Healing:
By improving circulation to the injured area, acupuncture enhances the delivery of nutrients, blood and oxygen, helping tissue repair faster.
02
Reduce Pain and Inflammation:
Acupuncture helps reduce swelling and pain, making it especially effective for sprains, strains, and joint injuries.
03
Improve Range of Motion:
Acupuncture releases tension and increases mobility, which is crucial for athletes recovering from muscle and joint injuries.
04
Prevent Scar Tissue Formation:
Regular acupuncture treatment can help prevent the formation of scar tissue by stimulating proper tissue repair.
05
Enhance Recovery
Acupuncture encourages the body to heal naturally and can significantly shorten recovery time after an injury. Whether its before a surgery, after, or both.
06
Support Surgery
While we hope it never comes to this sometimes surgeries are recommended. Acupuncture can speed up healing time when done before and after.
What To expect
Prior to getting treatment the acupuncturist will discuss goals and possibly do some physical testing. During an acupuncture session, you’ll typically lie down in a relaxed setting while the practitioner inserts very thin, sterile needles into specific points on your body. The needles may remain in place for 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the treatment plan. Most people report feeling little to no discomfort, and many experience a deep sense of relaxation during the treatment.
While acupuncture has been shown to provide relief for many, the number of sessions required can vary based on the condition being treated. Some individuals experience immediate benefits, while others may need a series of treatments for optimal results.

Lets work together
Your body was made to heal itself and thankfully we get to use traditional Chinese medicine as a tool to remind the body.
